Very nice hotel, friendly staff, very friendly cleaning staff as well.

Room key cards kept on not working, beach is not easy to find, swimming pool can maybe be heated in the slightly colder months. Lack of functioning plugs in the room.

Comfortable stay with great facilities, good breakfast, excellent location and polite and helpful staff, in particular kashif who was doing the cleaning and was very friendly. Pool is lovely as are the beaches surrounding and views over the sea.

Place was a bit run down given the price per night. Morning breakfast was good. Lots of options for breakfast.

No lifts. Our room was 3rd floor. Distance from the beach and marina and little vegetarian options in the restaurant

Standard of food at breakfast was disappointing.

Staff was exceptionally friendly. Special mention to Ritaj at reception and Omar the manager. Mohammed and Hani running F&B outlets. Kashif in housekeeping and all the lifeguards who played with the kids. Good beach access, and very nice snorkeling. Good watersports selection.

Not much to complain about. Facilities were a bit tired but beyond that everything was well run..

Great pools, great staff (super welcoming, always smiling, available for emergencies at every hour, even at night!), super good price. Rooms are super quite and we had a free upgrade! The hotel is very close to the marina and the beach (and gives you free use of all the beach beds/umbrellas). The hotel was also undergoing renovation of the rooms (changing alla mattresses, bed sheets, painting etc) and it felt very good to sleep in a brand new bed!! (At least we didn’t have to worry about bed bugs ;))

Rooms cleaning could be MUCH improved!!! Although staff is nice so if you ask explicitly at the reception to clean better your room / what to clean better, they will do it. Other suggestion: at breakfast, the hotel could add at least an automatic machine for different kinds of coffee!! It’s not possible to get cappuccino or anything that is not black Nescafé unfortunately

The hotel location is great. It is part of a purpose built seaside village with a nice marina, good wifi, free sunloungers on the beach and a few nice restaurants around. All amenities like a supermarket, a pharmacy etc available at walking distance around the marina. The staff are all friendly and genuinely care for you. A special mention and thank you for our housekeeper Kashif! He checked in with us every day making sure all was good in the room and making sure we had enough water, coffee and tea. He really gave us a personalized houskeeping service!

The hotel shows signs of age and is in need of a refurbishment. The building itself, the pool area and the garders are perfect and clean. However you can see a lot of wear and tear on the doors, the windows, the floors etc. Not a problem for us as we knew this from reading the reviews. The bed, the room itself and the bathroom were clean and comfortable. Perfect for a 3 night stay.

The breakfast was nice, the room was good, and the balcony view was quite good. The location was very good and had access to tala bay and its facilities

Even though the room was generally good, it lacked a few things such as a minibar, even though I was told I would have one. Also it was not particularly clean. The shower head was broken.

Facilities in the room a quite old. Not enough sun beds at the beach. Coffee maker was not in the room even though promised in description.

Rooms are small and old. They need renovation. No elevators, not suitable to get upper floors with kids. Not many options to drink or eat in the restaurant or bar. Food at breakfast is good, but no variaties.

The restaurant is dirty (windows, tables, chairs are full of food or sticky drinks). -very few sort of food, few vegetables and full of carbs all around (so chip food for a high price) -the beach is very far away -the extra bed, for 20 JOD was dirty -only few sunchairs and sunbads around the pull and at the beach

The hotel itself in terms of buildings, facilities, ammodation, reception area etc is excellent and definitely 5 star. However.........

The hotel is let down by a number of issues which makes it feel more like a 3 star hotel. As follows: NOISY NOISY NOISY HOTEL!!! If you are planning a holiday to go away and chill and relax and enjoy some peace and quiet in the Jordanian sun then this is NOT the hotel for you. The hotel plays very loud dance music on the beach all day long which can be heard all over the outside areas of the hotel. Literally all you can hear is the thud thud thud of dance music being played. They say it is for the entertainment (beach volleyball, yoga etc) but they play it all day regardless of what is going on. Complaints to the reception, hotel manager and entertainment team came to nothing, the loud music continued. This is something I would expect at a 3* hotel, not one that claims to be 5*. For us this one thing ruined our entire stay at this hotel Secondly the WiFi only works in your room. It does not work anywhere else in the hotel. Not even in reception. So if you want to use email, WhatsApp, Spotify, Facebook etc you’ll be spending all the time in your room. Even when in your room the WiFi goes down on a frequent basis. Since the TV is also WiFi based the TV goes off all the time too. Thirdly, the coffee is cold every morning at breakfast Breakfast is ok but not consistent with a 5* hotel. Extreme lack of fresh fruit We went to do a tour of Wadi Rum one day and came back tired, hungry and in need of a shower - only to find that our towels had been removed from our room and not replaced and there was no room service menu, all of which took ages to resolve That’s all, won’t be going back

Talabay is a nice little isolated area. That being said it's quite pricy. The hotel offered a free shuttle during various times of the day to the city of Aqaba, this was useful. The view from our hotel room was excellent. The receptionists tried their best to accommodate our needs and understood our frustrations.

There was no wifi in the rooms and we were told it was in the public areas however it didn't work very well when we tried to connect. We were told this was clear on booking.com and to clarify this, though I mentioned this was difficult to do with no internet! I only ate breakfast at the hotel and that was a disappointment. There was poor cleaning of dishes and tables. Everyday I had to inspect where I could sit and which plates and mugs I could use. When I tried to have lunch at the restaurant upon my check-in, I was tuned away as they only served a buffet which was quite expensive per person. Gym services were non existent as they aren't apart of the hotel. You have to walk to the beach club near by to use the amenities there. The television in the room belonged to a different era and only had two news channels in English where the display was terrible and the voice was out of synch. There was no elevator in the hotel and depending upon the floor you were staying on, this could be troublesome. The pool area was fine though the noise pollution of barring music ruined the calm atmosphere. Upon checkout I was asked to pay an additional hotel tax which I'm not certain of why. This wasn't expensive but on top of the fees I already paid, I don't think it was necessary. Overall, the hotel needed sprucing from the paint tearing off the walls to the balcony doors not being able to close properly without locking them.

As soon as we checked in the front desk clerk said room would be ready in 30 minutes, then it changed to an hour, then changed again to 3 pm. He blamed it on bad information from housekeeping. Bugs dead laying on the floor, busted toliet seat, shower that didn't work, sticky floors in restaurant, and when I picked up my elbow from the table my blouse stuck to the placemat. Oh and trash around the pool. There was also the previous person who stayed in the room shoes still under the bed.

The restaurant is good. the staff are friendly. the pools are safe for kids.

the pool water was cold. the toilet in our room was broken. and the room is too small. you will walk to reach the beach the kids are tired even before we arrived there

The Music so high while the guest needs relaxing near the swimming pools and the beach.

The beaches and port in Tala Bay are simply beautiful. We went to spend the day/night to enjoy snorkeling and sunbathing by the Red Sea. Booking with Booking.com was much cheaper than with the hotel.

Even though we only wanted 1 room, hotel said we had to get 2 for the 4 people in our party. Beds in both rooms had hairs. Room condition was ok but not immaculate. One of the two rooms had a sickeningly foul smell. Housekeeping liberally sprayed cleaner and wiped down the floor but then it smelled like cleaner AND the foul smell. Offered us another room but we were turned off enough that we just took an earlier bus back to Amman rather than being uncomfortable.

the worthest hotel i have ever seen , the staff very tuff and you just guys looking for money without giving your self chance to meet the clients needs
